About AI Visibility Checker

Built to help websites become discoverable, understandable, and citable by AI assistants.

Our Mission

Traditional SEO tools measure how well your website ranks in search engine results. But as AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini become primary information sources, a new question emerges: can AI actually find, understand, and recommend your website?

AI Visibility Checker exists to answer that question with a clear, quantifiable metric. We built the AI Visibility Score — a 0–100 rating based on 10 heuristic checks — to give website owners a concrete measurement of how their site performs across the dimensions that matter to large language models: indexability, understandability, and recommendability.

Our Methodology

The AI Visibility Score is calculated by running 10 heuristic checks on your website, grouped into 3 categories. Each check is informed by publicly documented AI crawler behaviors, structured data standards, and content quality research.

Indexability — Can AI find you?

We analyze your robots.txt for AI-specific user agents documented by OpenAI (GPTBot), Anthropic (ClaudeBot), and Google (Google-Extended). We also check for the presence of llms.txt, an emerging standard for providing LLMs with structured site context, as proposed by llmstxt.org.

Understandability — Can AI parse your content?

We evaluate your Schema.org JSON-LD structured data, measure the signal-to-noise ratio of your page content, test whether your HTML converts cleanly to the markdown format LLMs process internally, and assess semantic coverage of topic-relevant terms.

Recommendability — Will AI cite you?

We check for entity linking to knowledge sources (Wikidata, LinkedIn, GitHub), evaluate E-E-A-T signals as defined by Google's Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines, verify factual consistency across your pages, and assess whether your content contains clear, quotable statements suitable for AI citation.

Scoring

Each check produces a score from 0 to 100. These are weighted and aggregated into category scores, which combine into your overall AI Visibility Score. Scores of 0–39 indicate weak visibility, 40–69 moderate, and 70–100 good. The weighting reflects the relative impact each factor has on AI discoverability based on our analysis of LLM behavior patterns.
